FREE Printer Health Check!

Get the most out of your Digital Printing System

Printer Health Check

Digital Ceramic Systems offers a free heath check for your Ceramic Printing System.
Once completed you will receive a report outlining improvements you can make to:

  • Eliminating printing faults
  • Restoring faded colours
  • Improving gradations
  • Assists with profiles

Over time print quality can deteriorate, colours can weaken, stripes and banding can appear and colours can print mottled. In most cases these problems can be solved quite quickly, saving time and money on unusable printed sheets.

All you need to do is download the link below, follow the instructions and either scan or post the health check back to us. We will then call you to recommend what you need to do.
DOWNLOAD sheet here

Printing Instructions:

Open the image into Adobe Photoshop.
Then from the EDIT menu select ‘Assign Profile’ then select your ceramic profile (Please do not ‘Convert to Profile’)
Select ‘Print’ from the FILE menu
In the Printer Settings:

  • For colour Handling, select ‘Photoshop manages Colours’
  • For Printer Profile, select your ceramic profile

Note: Document Profile and Printer Profile should be the same.
Now scan or post the printed health check sheet back to us. We will send you a report advising you on recommendations.

As simple as that!

Depending on how much colour used in the artwork we estimate that you would get the following number of sheets from each toner set:

300 – 400 A4 sheets from a 100g set
1000 – 1200 A4 sheets from a 250g set
2000 – 2400 A4 sheets from a 500g set
500 – 600 A3 sheets from a 250g set
1000 – 1200 A3 sheets from a 500g set

No, we print in a four colour process (CMYK) so we cannot print precious metal colours.

Ceramics, Porcelain, Tiles, Vitreous Enamelled Steel & Glass. (If decorating glass we recommend you do your own trials first, and use the Red colour set as this has a lower firing temperature more suited to glass)

As standard we use Non-Flux Covercoat. However if you are decorating ware with a hard glaze such as porcelain then you may wish to use Flux Covercoat as this adds an extra gloss over the fired design.

Laminators purchased from Digital Ceramics are industrial quality and made of a heavy duty metal construction. High quality silicon heat rollers ensure perfect lamination results. Digitally adjustable LED/LCD controlled speed and temperature settings.
